![]() The zipper on this pocket runs at an angle with the Easton logo right above it which I thought was a nice design touch.Ĭomparing this design to some of the others it is a bit narrow. The front has a small “valuables” pouch however this is not lined with fleece like you find in some other options. There is nothing worse than mixing muddy cleats with your helmet and glove. I feel like the best baseball backpacks all feature a compartment that can separate dirty cleats from the rest of your gear! This bag has one of my “must haves” for a baseball backpack… a vented shoe compartment. The Easton Game Ready Backpack comes with a great looking design. What We Like What We Don’t Like – Vented shoe/cleat compartment – A bit narrow – Nice price for the amount of features – Check Price on Amazon Overall this is a nice backpack and ball players seem to love this brand. This definitely saves room inside the bag and is a feature that I completely missed the first couple times I looked at the bag. These are used to strap and carry your elbow or shin guards.Ī nice design feature from a company that was first known for it’s body amour! One feature unique to the SRZ-1 are two small loops on either side of the front of the bag. This bag is probably doable for the younger ages but still a great option for older players. The SRZ 1 is super light weight which I like for the younger ball player. ![]() If you want your glove or spikes contained in a separate section you won’t find it with this bag. The rest of your gear will have to go in the main compartment. It has your 2 standard front zipper pockets for valuables, batting gloves and other accessories. If you are someone that has a ton of gear you may want to find a different backpack. It seems that this bag was designed with more “all-purpose” use in mind rather than exclusively for baseball. The SRZ-1 is your standard “school style” backpack with 2 mesh side slots for 2 bats. This is a good looking bag, however Evoshield definitely wasn’t trying to reinvent anything with this design.
